I'm so lost and need to buy a gift by Friday but the prices keep changing. I tried that camel site but it's not working for me and I have no idea what I'm doing.
is there something easier for a beginner like me?
@Reply #2 - good point! honestly you should just check out PriceBlink! its amazing because it basically tells you if a cheaper price exists elsewhere without you having to do anything. i love it because its so simple and free. no crazy graphs to learn, just straightforward savings which is exactly what you need by friday! grab it now!
honestly if that site is giving you trouble you might want to consider switching over to Keepa instead. ive used it for years and it basically lives right on the amazon page so you dont have to keep jumping between tabs. just be careful when you first install it because there are a lot of settings you dont actually need. i would suggest sticking to the basic price charts and not overthinking all the extra data they throw at you. make sure to check the used prices versus new tho because sometimes the tracker gets a bit confused. just get the browser extension and you should be fine. it might look a bit busy at first but just ignore the extra buttons. be careful with the price alerts too... they can get annoying if you set too many for one item. honestly just use Keepa and it makes things way easier.
Unfortunately, many price trackers have become quite unreliable with their data refresh intervals lately. They are simply not as good as expected for time-sensitive shopping. If you require a more streamlined interface, Honey is a solid alternative that remains very accessible. It provides clear price history charts right on the product page. Its very helpful for making a quick decision by Friday without any technical overhead.
