Is there a legit way to track price drops on Amazon without actually making an account on a third party site? Im trying to hunt down a deal on a Breville Barista Express for my new apartment in Seattle but the price is jumping all over the place like crazy. My budget is strictly 500 dollars and right now its sitting at nearly 700 which is just too much for me. I did some digging and everyone points to CamelCamelCamel or Keepa but they both seem to want me to sign up or log in with Google to actually get a notification sent to my phone. I have been trying to cut back on how many random accounts I have floating around for privacy reasons lately so I really dont want to give my email to yet another database if I can help it. I saw some people mention RSS feeds but I honestly have no idea how that works or if Amazon even supports it anymore since all those forum threads were from like 2018. Is there some kind of browser tool or maybe a site that just lets you check a public dashboard or something? Or maybe a way to get a browser notification without an email attached? It feels like everything wants my data just to tell me when a coffee machine is on sale and I am just tired of the clutter.

I had issues with privacy before and unfortunately trackers are such a letdown now. Are you stuck on the Express or would the Impress work? Try this Chrome extension maybe?

Honestly, you can find what you need without all the clutter. Simple browser add-ons that dont track your data have worked well for years and I am very satisfied with the results. You really cant go wrong with a Breville, they make solid stuff that lasts.

  • use browser extensions with local alerts
  • watch for warehouse discounts
  • keep an eye on price history graphs Just get any machine from Breville and youll be happy.
