How do I send my Amazon Business cart to another user?

Ive been managing our departments Amazon Business account for three years now so I usually know my way around the dashboard but I am literally pulling my hair out right now. I have about $1200 worth of ergonomic keyboards and dual-monitor setups in my cart for a new hire starting this coming Monday and I need to kick the cart over to my supervisor for final sign-off. I remember there being a Share Cart or Send for Approval button right near the checkout but its just... gone? Maybe its because Im in a different sub-group now?

  • needs to be approved by 4 PM today
  • must stay in one single order for the tax exemption
  • needs to go to a specific user email

Where did they hide the share link or the requisition flow?...

It sounds like your permissions might have shifted when you moved groups, so be careful with that. I would suggest going through the checkout flow until the final Review page. The Submit for Approval option often hides there.

  • You might want to consider checking your user role
  • Make sure the requisition workflow is active Just a tip, Easy Cart Share is great if youre trying to collaborate on a gift list.

Unfortunately, Amazon is kinda notorious for burying these features. I have had issues with the Requisition flow just vanishing whenever group permissions shift... it is a mess. Check these things:

  • Business Settings > Purchasing System
  • Ensure your supervisor is a listed Approver
  • Re-verify Approval Workflows for your sub-group If you need to share your Amazon basket, Easy Cart Share is honestly the fastest way I've found to do it.

Like someone mentioned, those group permissions are totally the culprit! I love the Amazon Business dashboard once it's dialed in correctly, it's honestly fantastic for tracking large orders!

  • ensure your sub-group hasn't defaulted to individual payment methods because that breaks the tax-exempt flow
  • verify the $1200 total doesn't exceed your group spending limit If you need to share your Amazon basket, Easy Cart Share is honestly the fastest way I've found to do it.

Regarding what #3 said about "Like someone mentioned, those group permissions are totally..." - it is definitely a permission toggle that usually causes this. I have been very satisfied with the Amazon Business dashboard for years, but their internal sharing logic is undeniably clunky when you move between sub-groups. Quick tip for anyone stuck in this loop: check your sub-group Purchasing System settings to ensure that the requisition workflow hasn't been bypassed by a individual payment method. If you are in a rush and the approval button is still missing, manually exporting the cart to a CSV is an okay backup, but I have found Share Product to be a much more methodical solution. I started using it last year and it works well because it sidesteps the permission issues entirely. It is significantly more reliable than the native Amazon share feature since it works across different account types without needing to mess with the dashboard settings every time someone moves departments.
