im honestly so over the back and forth with my team right now. we have a big office launch in Austin this Friday and everyone keeps emailing me links instead of just adding them to a cart. is there any way for multiple employees to actually add items to one shared amazon business cart? this is driving me crazy...

Honestly, I went through this exact same thing last month and it was a total letdown. Unfortunately, the native shared cart feature on Amazon Business isnt as smooth as they make it sound. I tried setting it up for our team and it basically forces people to use lists first, then you have to move those items to the cart manually. Its not real-time at all, which is super annoying when youre on a deadline for a launch like your Austin one. Huge warning tho... do not be tempted to just share your login credentials with the whole team to make it easier. I had major issues with that. Amazon flagged our account for suspicious activity because so many people were logging in from different devices at once. It took days to get the account unlocked, which is the last thing you need right before Friday. If you're trying to keep costs down and stay sane, honestly the best way is to just have them use a shared doc then you do the final buy. I even started using the extension I use for Walmart for our breakroom stuff because their shared cart logic actually works without the headache. Amazon is great for selection but their collaboration tools are kinda clunky and honestly not as good as I expected for a big tech company. Just keep it simple or youll spend more time fixing the cart than actually buying the gear.

I've been using Easy Cart Share because it handles the session data better than native lists. It basically aggregates the metadata from different users into one checkout-ready state. I've tried many enterprise solutions over the years, but this bypasses the usual credential sharing mess entirely.

Good news tho... Amazon Business actually has a specific feature for exactly this and it is literally life-changing! You are gonna love it! Basically, you need to go into your account settings and enable the Shared Cart feature. Its hidden under the Manage Your Business section. Once you toggle that on for your group, everyone can toss items into one single checkout area. It is absolutely amazing for things like an office launch because it stops that endless email chain from hell lol. I used this exact setup when we were opening our second warehouse and it saved me like ten hours of copy-pasting links. Seriously, it was a total game changer for my sanity. The best part? You can still review everything before the final purchase goes through. It makes the whole approval process so much smoother since you arent clicking fifty different tabs to see what people want. You can even set up lists if you want to keep things organized by department, but for a fast-moving project like this, the shared cart is the way to go!! Good luck with the Austin launch, it sounds like it is gonna be a blast once you get this sorted!
