im literally so hyped because qvc has those crazy beauty deals coming up for their big anniversary event and i absolutely cannot miss out on the elemis pro-collagen marine cream bundle or those tatcha sets theyve been teasing on the broadcast. i usually just browse the site on my laptop when im bored but i know these specific sets sell out in like minutes sometimes especially when the price is basically half off retail and i missed the last one and almost cried lol. im trying to decide the absolute best way to make sure i get the alert the second it goes live because my luck has been terrible lately with catching the today special values before the shades i want are gone.

im basically torn between three strategies and im curious what works for you guys:

• just relying on the qvc app push notifications which seems easiest but i heard they can be super laggy or dont even show up until halfway through the day
• joining those qvc addict facebook groups and hoping some super fan posts a link early or a leak
• setting a bunch of manual alarms on my phone for midnight est and just refreshing the page like a crazy person

i work a pretty hectic job in san diego so im on pst and those midnight eastern drops are actually 9pm for me which is perfect but i get distracted so easily with the kids and getting them ready for bed. my budget for this month is strictly $150 for skincare so i cant afford to miss the bundle price and then have to pay full retail later at sephora or something cuz that would totally wreck my spending plan for the rest of the quarter and my husband would definitely notice the extra spending. i need to be fast.

is the app actually reliable for these big deals and limited drops or am i just setting myself up for heartbreak if i dont do it manually? some people say the notifications only go out for the main show and not the individual beauty steals. i just really want that elemis set so bad its not even funny and i dont want to be staring at a sold out sign at 9:05pm...
