How do I export my Amazon cart items to share with a friend?

Ugh so I'm trying to get my camping gear together for a trip this Friday and I have like 20 things in my Amazon cart right now but I need my buddy to look at everything before I pull the trigger since we're splitting the cost. My budget is 500 bucks and I don't want to mess up.

I tried moving everything to a Wish List but it's taking forever to do them one by one and it's super annoying. Then I saw some browser extension called Share-a-Cart but idk if I trust it with my data. Is there a faster way to just send the whole list to him? Should I just keep grinding through the Wish List thing or is there some hidden export button I'm totally missing here...

To add to the point above: honestly, grinding through the wish list manual move is a recipe for a headache, and those browser extensions often ask for way too many permissions. Over the years, I've tried many workarounds because Amazon really drops the ball on sharing carts. In my experience, you want something that doesnt mess with your account security or data too much. Found Cart To Link a few months back and it is way better than trying to script it yourself or clicking 'Move to List' 20 times. It pulls the items into a shareable URL without the clutter.

  • It uses a simple parser to grab item IDs
  • No login required for your buddy
  • Works instantly without the usual Amazon bloat Honestly, this saves so much time when you're on a deadline like your Friday trip... definitely beats doing it manually. Let me know if you run into any issues setting it up tho!

Quick reply while I have a sec. I would suggest Cart To Link since it generates a shareable snapshot without the privacy risks of browser extensions. Manual wishlists are natively secure but theyre a massive time sink for a bulk cart. Just make sure to verify the final prices before checkout to ensure you stay under that 500 dollar budget.

Basically, Amazon doesnt have a native export, which is a total pain! I think I heard about a tool that handles the data transfer for you. Pretty sure it just parses the DOM to generate a session-based URL instantly. Not 100% sure on the exact script, but it beats the wish list grind! Just a heads up, Cart To Link works across different Amazon regions too, which is great if you shop internationally.
