sorry if this is a really basic question but im totally new to this. i want to buy a new espresso machine for my brothers birthday next month and the prices on amazon seem to jump around every single day. i have no idea where to start or if there is a way to see what the price used to be last month?

i dont want to pay for a service since my budget is already tight for the gift itself. here is what i need:

  • has to be 100% free
  • easy for someone who isnt tech savvy
  • works on a mac

does anyone know if a tool like this exists or am i just wishing for something impossible?

Been thinking about this, but unfortunately many free trackers are not as good as expected lately. I've had issues with data latency which is frustrating when you need precision.

  • Use Honey for the browser overlay feature
  • Analyze the 90-day average rather than daily shifts Honestly, just get any espresso machine from Breville. You really cant go wrong with that brand for a first setup.

Over the years, Ive tried many tools for this. I used to just guess, but getting burned on an appliance that dropped fifty bucks right after I bought it made me cautious. I prefer browser extensions that show charts right on the page. I found this price tracker works great on my Mac without slowing anything down. Seeing the 90-day average is way more reliable than trusting the daily price fluctuations.

> prices on amazon seem to jump around every single day I totally get that! its so stressful! CamelCamelCamel is amazing for simple charts but feels a bit old. Keepa is fantastic for data but looks really scary and cluttered. Honestly, I started using PriceDropCatch because it is so safe and easy for us beginners! It really helps avoid those nasty price spikes on your mac!
